brooklyn comedian – part 2 “New York, French Rap, Erectile dysfunction”
This is part 2 of my first OFFICIAL stand up comedy performance at The Laugh Lounge (located at 151 Essex street, NYC). In this part, I talk about New York Pizzerias, MTA transit, French Rap & Erectile Dysfunction.
**For those who don’t know, I started doing stand up comedy in January of 2010 at open mics in Manhattan. I originally wanted to pursue stand up comedy back in 2004 but only did four “new talent nights” and never returned to the stage. After six years of inactivity, i did my first official performance on Feb 21st 2010. I am very happy with my first performance & after reviewing the video, I already see where i need improvement. Please give any honest feedback you have & look out for Part 2 of my performance!!!

WALLY FARKAS (GALACTIC COWBOYS, DUG PINNICK BAND, XENUPHOBE) recently created a video reply to Tricia Walsh-Smith (the Youtube Divorce Lady) in the form of a short film titled, “Tricia Walsh-Smith: The Broadway Musical.”
The film has received a new, fresh edit and includes a new musical snippet as well as link information to download “Song for Tricia” in MP3 format for free.
Farkas states, “Following the posting of the original version of the video, a bizarre string of events occurred that led to me having an actual phone conversation directly with Tricia’s husband, Philip Smith last Friday. I did mention the film to him (which I do not think he had seen). I found him to be a most courteous and professional person.”
Tricia Walsh-Smith created an international phenomenon this month by submitting a “dirty laundry” video to http://www.youtube.com, documenting her ongoing feud with husband and Broadway mogul, Philip Smith, who heads the Shubert Organization in New York.
After enlisting legendary KING’S X guitarist, TY TABOR to handle music engineering and camera duties and Bryan Powers of Hindsight Video for editing, Farkas wrote “Song For Tricia” and created the short film, “Tricia Walsh-Smith: The Broadway Musical,” which was written, filmed, and edited in one five-hour session. The new version of the film can now be viewed on Youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIcj7rn4iU0 as well as on Wally’s myspace page http://www.myspace.com/wallyfarkas, which also features the download link for the song.
Farkas also just handled guitar work as well as co-production duties on King’s X vocalist dUg Pinnick’s recently released solo album, “Strum Sum Up” (which also features appearances by members of Queens of the Stone Age, Korn, Army of Anyone, Failure, Big Wreck, Zero 1 and cameos by Steve Stevens and actor/comedian Hal Sparks). Wally is currently working on his first solo release, “Past Due,” to be released later this year on Molken Music http://www.molkenmusic.com
